What is a Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) Licensed Agency and Accredited Agency of the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASETrust)?

121 Personnel Services is a Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) Licensed Agency, Licence No. C634801D   (please see updates below). In other words, we are licensed by the MOM to serve you.

To qualify for the licence, the management of 121 Personnel Services has been evaluated by the MOM to be legally fit to operate the agency.

To protect the best interests of employers and employees, 121 Personnel Services has placed a $20,000.00 Performance Bond (now, $60,000.00 with the Comprehensive Licence, effective 17 Dec 2011) with the MOM to ensure our good performance and that we always take care of our clients’ interests.   To qualify for the licence, our director has to attend and pass the Certificate of Employment Agency course spanning 3 months in the Singapore Polytechnic. It is only when the above criteria have been satisfied would our agency be licensed to serve you.

What Exactly is CaseTrust?

CaseTrust is an accreditation given to businesses in Singapore who are committed towards maintaining a high-level of good business practice. It is a mark of assurance for all consumers – a Consumer Trust Mark.

In essence, the CaseTrust logo presents CaseTrust as the middleman through which the consumers and the traders, represented by the 2 C’s, engage in mutually beneficial business transactions. All the elements join together to form the likeness of a sturdy key, which is a universal symbol of trust and confidence. “CaseTrust” makes up the main framework of the key, symbolizing a solid foundation for good business practices.

CaseTrust is a collaborative project between the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE), SPRING Singapore (formerly known as Productivity and Standards Board), Singapore Tourism Board (STB), and Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) whose synergy would represent the desire that this scheme will help propel businesses to a level of excellence that is internationally recognised. CaseTrust is also supported by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

Currently, only 10% of the 700 over agencies have been accredited by the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) for Good Business Practices. And, 121 Personnel Services is proud to be one of them. We are probably one of the very few agencies that specialised in the expat market.

To qualify for the CASETrust accreditation, 121 Personnel Services has been questioned, queried, and evaluated extensively by the officials of the Consumers Association of Singapore over a 6 months period. The staff and management of 121 Personnel Services have been tested on their knowledge of the industry, their openness and transparency in servicing consumers, and most importantly, their overall good business practices.

It is only when the officials of the Consumers Association of Singapore are satisfied with what they see that 121 Personnel Services is accredited with CaseTrust. And so far, 10% of the 700 over licensed agencies have been accredited.
